The Capgrossos were inaugurated on Corpus Christi Day in 1947 and have accompanied the giants ever since. They comprise the white captain, the black captain, the grandmother, the grandfather, the boy, the girl, the winker, the enchanted, the drunk and the joker. They dance to the cheerful sound of the music of the Cavallets, also composed by Josep Saderra.
