The correfoc (fire festival) of Les Planes d'Hostoles stands out for its spectacular showmanship and powerful performances. The Els Diables de l'Onyar (demons of the Onyar) hperform their new show that will premiere at the Sant Narcís fairs in October in Girona. Starting with a performance that fills the narrow streets of the town with fire, firecrackers and drums, the spectacle ends in Plaça Nova with an extraordinary pyrotechnic show.

The correfoc takes place on the fourth Saturday of September, during the Santa Espina festivities and is well worth a visit – it is a unique experience.
